Cultura Netball Club
The Cultura Netball Club provides a free netball competition for girls aged 10-18, particularly for players from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
Players develop their netball skills in workshops with Netball Victoria and use these skills to play in teams at the Corio Netball Association. On school holidays, the girls and their families participate in school holiday activities.
Cultura Futsal and Netball Academy (CFNA)
The Cultura Futsal and Netball Academy (CFNA) assists girls and boys aged 10-18, particularly for players from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. They can engage in local netball and futsal competitions, with all costs fully covered.
Participants work on their sporting skills, compete in local competitions and attend 10 weeks of workshops that cover topics such as building self-worth, healthy relationships, responding to racism and improving mental health, with guest speakers such as professional athletes.
