Homework Clubs

Community Services

Cultura operates homework clubs in the Geelong Region during the school calendar year. This is a free service that supports students in years 7-12 who have recently arrived in Australia and are of refugee background.

Student bring their assigned homework to Homework Club, and volunteer tutors provide one-on-one support, as needed, to help the complete their work.

This may include:

  • assistance with reading and understanding their homework tasks, and
  • listening to students read and re-tell.
