Cultura provides programs and services to help people from culturally diverse backgrounds live a healthy and happy life, from exercise and wellbeing programs to mental health support services.
Wellbeing Navigators Program
The Wellbeing Navigators Program provides regular check-in calls to give emotional support, reduce isolation, and help participants to establish connections with local support services, including mental health services.
The program is offered in eight community languages including Dari, Farsi, Hazaragi, Arabic, Karen, Karenni, Swahili and Tamil.
This is a COVID-19 response initiative.
Women’s Wellbeing Program
Participate in wellbeing activities for women from multicultural backgrounds, including yoga, zumba, badminton and gardening. All activities are facilitated by community development workers in a safe and language-supported environment.
This program also works with mental health services to advocate for CALD responsive services.

- training in cultural responsiveness for mental health workers
- project partnerships with providers
