Aged Care and Support

At Cultura we want all our aged care residents to flourish. In well-being. In health. In life. Since we opened in 1994 as the Geelong Multicultural Hostel, we have been helping our residents to flourish in their later years.

Transitioning to aged care is a big decision. We understand that it can be stressful and full of uncertainty. We see aged care not so much about letting go, but more about giving some control and independence back. Instead of losing their independence, we empower our residents to maintain it.

It always starts with the individual – their needs and wants, and how we can support them. We listen first, always. We meet people where they are at, whether that is providing support in their own home, in one of our residential care homes, or helping them to pass away with dignity and on their terms through our Home Services palliative care service.

Our goal was, and always will be, to provide the best aged care services for the vibrant, culturally-diverse communities of Geelong and the western metropolitan area. Our residents and Home Care consumers represent over 30 different nationalities, including Australians. This makes Cultura different. It makes us who we are.

Residential Aged Care in Geelong

Aged Care & Support
Moving into residential aged care can be a daunting and stressful time for an older person and their loved ones. At Cultura, we encourage our residents to see a move to residential care as another stage of their journey and hopefully to gain some of their independence back, rather than losing it.

Aged Care & Support
Bella Chara is a welcoming yet intimate environment that offers individuals the privacy of their own front door with the safety of being in a community.
