A brilliant day was had celebrating the exceptional women of our communities at Diversitat and MACS on International Womens’ Day on Tuesday 8 March 2022.
A special Welcome to Country by Kristi Watts and Tahlia Dempsey from Wathaurong Aboriginal Co Op. Empowering speeches from our CEO Joy Leggo and Hiba Murtadha and beautiful performances from our English students and the Geelong Indian community. This was followed by a special planting session at the Northern Community Hub.
The day was organised by our Settlement Services & Community Programs.
