Where words fail, music speaks.
Join Cultura for a special Refugee Week screening of the critically acclaimed Australian documentary The Scattered People film. The theme for refugee week 2022 is ‘healing’.
Music can heal and transform on a personal and community level. But can it build a bridge between middle Australia and some of the world’s most vulnerable people?
Scattered People is about the power of music to create change and restore hope. Featuring acclaimed musicians including Archie Roach, Missy Higgins, John Butler, Gang Gajang, Katie Noonan, Michael Franti, Dan Sultan, Baker Boy, The Cat Empire and more.
We will be screening the movie on Thursday 23 June @ Cultura Hub (Norlane), from 6:30pm.
Places are limited so call Taniya on 0447889453 to secure a spot.
Multicultural snacks will be provided.
