Manager, Casework Services

As the Manager, Casework Services you will have responsibility for leading service delivery for two case management programs; The Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP), and the Settlement Engagement, Transition and Support (SETS) Service.

The successful applicant will have ideally worked in a leadership role with multicultural communities and possess significant experience, expertise, and an understanding of the nuances that comes with working within the NFP sector.

We are seeking a leader with the proven ability to set and maintain a positive team culture and implement high quality service delivery and outcomes, consistently delivered in an efficient and effective manner.

This position will be contracted on a permanent full-time basis, and will be based from the Northern Community Hub in Norlane.

About You:

  • Contributes to the enhancement and development of strategic partnerships to increase the impact and scale of service delivery to meet the needs of the multicultural people and communities in the Geelong region;
  • Builds and maintains strong internal and external networks and stakeholder engagement to ensure that Settlement and Community Support casework services are recognised for their high-quality of service delivery and contemporary approach to practice;
  • Strengthens and enhances team and individual capabilities by creating an environment that enables staff to maximise their strengths and continue to learn, develop and innovate;
  • Leads and manages the delivery of casework services within the Humanitarian Settlement Program and Settlement Engagement and Transition Support Service to achieve funding, consumer and financial objectives;
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology or a related field;
  • Experience and expertise in working with multicultural communities.
